Guilt remains in the human, they just supress it to make it "go away".
I feel guilty about stuff that happened 10 years ago.. but i block it out and then it comes back.

NO! We can forget things that tells we are guilty but the guilt and stain or sin does never fades away for the natural born man and woman born naturally of the flesh and descend from the womb. The ONLY men and woman whose guilt and sin is removed forever is the spiritual man and woman born on this earth. These men and woman are born twice as redemption in the Old & New Testament Scripture is for the second born ONLY. The supernaturally born are born again of the Holy Spirit. This new birth makes them "second born" sons and daughters to come into agreement once again with Old & New Testament Scripture and the Words spoken from the mouth of Jesus. All men on earth go to altars of islam, Judaism, and Christianity except for the atheist. He stays in the west and says there is no God. At all 3 altars men and woman do the same thing which is called following the "traditions of men. They approach each altar from the west. They pray, worship, and take spouses AWAY from each altar and head west on land and then turn back to living NATURALLY, when the true and Living God is beyond that altar of the Christians at the cross. And if you note, Christians born again of the Spirit still live on this side although they are true citizens from the eternal Kingdom of Christ which is on the opposite side of the actual cross Christ was crucified upon. The new spiritual man and woman have all their sins and guilt removed at the ACTUAL. This removal of the wieght and guilt of sin frees the eternal inner being within and the Holy Spirit leads this Holy spirit being directly into the eternal Kingdom of Christ which is in the Heavens and in the eternal future.

no guilt stays forever... there is no end to it and there shouldn't be... guilt is guilt and an internal punish like this is a just thing.

salam sister... hope you are fine by the grace of allah(SWT)... yes.. guilt fades away with time... but if you keep on remembering that guilt, it may be difficult to fade off... so better pray to allah for it...
