Question #1:
I had some strange dreams i was in a place which had a walk way to the right side of a hill and up the top I could see other souls I think standing around in a area which could only be described as closed gates I got scared and walk back down the path way at the end was a pond with the most beautiful color water I stared into it there was this weird white thing swimming in the water I watch it for awhile then reached down and grabbed it and suddenly work up like I had a massive shock. Have had this dream three times the last two time I have head straight for the pond and shock my self back. Another dream which was scary I went to find my child everything was dirty and red and there was these strange looking guards i think they were rounding up what seem to be souls I think. I remember grabbing my child and running and jumping these odd things that looked like trains. Bit worried about last dream which i keep have of being in a green house near a school on a high hill. I keep seeing me hit a guy with a golf club to the head and killing him then hiding his body. I not at all a violent person love nature grow heaps of trees so very odd. Whats your thoughts
Question #2:

I am not camera shy and i have even come up with my own burn notice episode before. My neighbors and i make videos by ourselves a lot and we have fun. I would love to be on this show. I took 2 years worth of classes at Stages. I became quite close with some of the people i worked with.

(ignore the burn notice stuff...thats from someting else i did)

Question #3:
I'm generally a really bad person at sports. I've never been able to run the mile in less than 12 mins, and I've only ever passed P.E because I dressed everyday and showed up on time -_-'
I decided for the sake of my health I should get into a sport, so I tried out for the golf team. I didn't make it, but my friend's mom was the coach so I got in....(I know that's wrong but eh...)
but golf doesn't have much physical involvement as I had hoped for so I decided I wanted to go try out for soccer because it seems like so much fun and I really enjoy watching it. But since I'm so badly out of shape, I was wondering if any of you out there could please tell me what I could do to get in shape and actually have a shot at making the soccer team? i think tryouts are in 3 months...
by the way, I'm not a wimpy boy, I'm a girl....just in case that has something to do with anything...
Question #4:
Me and this guy had a fight and for some reason everyone agreed with him he said football players are more conditioned than soccer players, heres my opinion
Soccer & Fighting-Tied although soccer players have to run 100-300 yards fighting takes amazing feats of strength and flexibiltiy plus just shadowboxing could tire someone out.Im talking about all arts mma, boxing, wrestling included, etc.
Biking, Track and Field and Basketball- Biking takes incredible kegs, lots of training and incredible indurence, Track and field takes almost the same as biking and incredible legs for short sprinting in fact it should be at the top but the fact with short sprinting and all the small stuff is that its 2nd, basketball you have to go up and down the court and have a incredible vertical because the hoop is 11ft high
Swimming, Water Polo & Bodybuilding/Powerlifters-Swimming is almost the same except you have to swim fast and takes ton of training, Water polo takes good amount of strength cuz hitting a volleyball in the water is hard cuz the water is heavy, Bodybuilding and Powerlifters are the strongest ppl in the world
Baseball- It may be a slow sport but short sprints around those 4 squares can get you tired and swinging the bat takes strength
Football(American)-Yes they have 10 pound gear on but really they run and get tackled every time the farthest sprint was like 70yrds I hard that like a soccer player running half of half a field, thats pathetic, this sport takes some strength but not to much and most of the ppl are out of shape and thats based of fact
Golf-Takes no condition barely any strength
Sorry If I left out some sports but I work out so ive done bodybuilding, ive played soccer 6yrs in my life and boxed for 2, ive wrestled not that well though, i play basketball alot in p.e, i run in p.e and i swim for fun, ive done everything except baseball, golf and football
WHATS YOUR OPINION

Question #7:
I am planning on starting a marathon training program soon and it has specific days of cross training. It suggests swimming, biking or running, but I'm curious... Can golf be my cross training activity? I always walk when I play, so I figured just hitting some balls in between wouldn't spoil the walk too much. What do you think? If that's a no go, would you say playing golf on a rest day is a bad idea? Or is that too much? I would really like to work in one round a week...
Question #8:
I did Taekwondo for about 6 years, and went up to a second degree black belt level. I stopped, as it was getting a little mundane for me and I wanted to start golf. It's been about two years since I stopped, and I'm slightly considering going back, as I kind of miss the sport. Would I have to take a test and start at a certain level? I'm sure I wouldn't get to start at the level I left at, but if I train and practice my forms and techniques and all that, would I get in without starting all over again?
Question #9:
Today, I was cleaning up my son's playroom and noticed that he has several missing parts to his toys that have disappeared in the past two days. Two small plastic golf balls, two larger ones and a tiger to a zoo train. I know exactly where they went as he has a recent fascination with pulling up the floor vents and throwing things down there. (I'm going to screw them down as soon as I get the chance) He's really quick and can get the floor vent out and a few toys down there when I walk to the kitchen (attached to the playroom) to get him a cup of water. So, where does your kid lose the parts of the toys? I'm doing a retrieval with the vacuum hose tomorrow.

Thanks for the answers guys. Would you say playing golf on a rest day is a bad idea? Or is that too much? I would really like to work in one round a week...
Question #11:
I used to play golf when i was young around 13 years old but quit. Now ive taken it back up and enjoy it. I would love to be able to play professionally. Ive got the next three years whilst i do my degree to practise, ill have around 6 hours a day of possible training time. Also i can get a PGA professional to coach me. But my question is beign 18 too old to go pro?
Question #12:
I'm not new to hitting the gym or fitness as a whole. I'm in Better than average shape, but recently i've been hitting the gym to really trim out and become more solid for golf. i've been doing a lot of heavy weight training and i've noticed that i'm a lot more sore than i normally get - as i never really lifted intensely. I also do Tae Kwon Do on my off days.
My muscles ache. Bad. I stretch constantly. I eat lots of protein - fish, chicken, etc, and i drink a LOT of water. At least 64 oz or more each day MINIMUM. I still remain sore for a few days. Is there anything i can do naturally to stop the buildup of lactic acid? Is there something i should be doing BEFORE the workout as opposed to after?
As i re-read, i just realize it sounds strange. Not so much that i don't want to be sore at all because that just happens when you work hard, but i'm sore for like 3 or 4 days. Really sore to the point that it's hard to move that muscle. That's the condition i want to stop. Might it eventually stop on it's own?
Question #13:
"[Lionel] Messi can do some amazing things, but anything he can do Joe can do as well, if not better. He used to shock us in training by doing footy tricks with a golf ball that most players can't even do with a football. I really fancy Joe for the [player of the year] award this season."
Apoligies if this has already been posted guys as it is a few days old...
but please tell me Gerrard was taking the P when he said this? Even Gerrard himself is better than Joe Cole, but Lionel Messi......... ?!!?!?!?!
Question #14:
I'm going into my sophomore year of high school and i'm a very active person. I'm on my high school's basketball and golf team and when not in a sport season i'm either training or lifting. Last October, while I was in the weight room. I hurt my lower back doing dead lifts and decided to just stop lower back exercises for good. When the basketball season came around in November my back would hurt when conditioning but got better after a few weeks when I wasn't lifting and I was fine when the season started picking up. The golf season came around and my back was still fine and when that was over I started to lift again starting in May- current time. My workout routine is chest/ bi's on the same day, then back/tri's, and the last day is shoulders/ legs and I mix abs in there. I lift atleast 4 times a week and when my coach started calling basketball practices a few times a week this summer, the back pain would come back when I lift and do a lot of cardio. Could this be because i'm doing push/pull on the same day at the gym? Or because i'm doing cardio and lifting? Help please!

Question #16:
This Sunday is my husband's company family picnic. It's an all-day event, starting at 8:30am and ending when the state park closes (at 10pm). I doubt we'll stay for the whole thing, but we will arrive when it starts and probably leave mid-afternoon/dinner time. My husband is in the golf tournament, which starts at 9:15am, so my son and I will be hanging out with the other moms and families. I am 28 weeks pregnant and my son is 22 months old and potty-training. Oh, and it's supposed to be in the low 90s that day.
Here is my list of things to bring... Have I forgotten anything? Should I add anything? Thanks!
- Son's little potty (he can use it in the back of my SUV)
- 3 pairs of extra undies for my son (just in case!)
- 5 Pull-Ups (just in case!)
- Baby wipes
- 2 extra changes of clothes for my son (2 shorts, 2 socks, 2 shirts - he will be wearing tennis shoes)
- 2 sippy cups
- Sunscreen
- His favorite "sleep" toy
- A few cars he likes to play with
- A washcloth (just in case!)
- A beach towel (for sitting on the grass, maybe laying down, napping, for a picnic, etc.)
- An extra shirt for me
- An extra bra 'n undies for me
- Extra socks for me (I'll be wearing tennis shoes)
- An extra change of clothes for my husband (shirt, boxers, shorts, socks)
There are TONS of games and stuff for the kids (like clowns, moon walk, face painting, etc.). There will also be endless food and cold beverages. It's just going to be H-O-T, so I want to be prepared. I want my son to be as comfortable as possible (since it is going to be a long day) and I'd like to be as comfortable as possible too (though, I know it'll be hard because pregnancy and heat don't go well together, LOL)!
Thanks for your input!
Well, I thought about bringing lots of undies in case they play water games or something. Nobody likes to walk around in wet undies!
I like the idea of hats and sunglasses. Thanks! :o)
